Reading in Science:
Content Area Reading
Each unit
focuses on Science passages and comprehension questions. Students
are automatically diagnosed when they start, and their progress
or remediation is based on their success with each comprehension
skill. The program includes five diagnostic tests (one for each
skill area), five comprehension levels and 100 developmental activities.
Key
skills covered include main idea, details, vocabulary, sequence,
and inference.
Key
features include a bookmark option, spoken glossaries, and Internet
activities.
